Introduction
There is a lot to learn in “KAI: Battle of Three Kingdoms”, and at first it can be difficult to understand how to win the game and just end up losing.
In this site, I will explain, with examples, what you should do when you start this game.
If you can practice what is written in this page, and if you still feel that you cannot win, we will also include a reference site to help you.
Important before playing
This game can be played on a smartphone, but there is also a PC browser version.
The PC browser version can be played on a larger screen than the smartphone version, and is much easier to control, so if you have a PC, we strongly recommend playing on the PC browser version.

Get a useful warlord
When you start the game, a tutorial will begin and you will play with different cards for about three rounds.
This one is not particularly meaningful for winning or losing, so just place them appropriately and get it over with.
After the tutorial is over, get the following two warloads by entering the redemption code.

The two warloads, Pang Tong and Liao Hua, are very good deck parts for Liu Bei, which will be discussed later.
Peng Tong is from
the official announcement,
Liao Hua can get the code from
the upcoming update information.
After copying the code, select “Enter Code” from the Settings button in the upper right corner of the game screen and enter the code in the “Redeem Code” section.
Reorganize the deck
Once you have Pang Tong and Liao Hua, you can form a deck of three warloads with Liu Bei, which you originally have.
Liu Bei is effective when there are seven units of Shu warload in the deck.

The reasons for choosing Liu Bei are that his strategies are not peculiar and easy to handle, and because you can start with three Shu units from the beginning, the difficulty level of activating strategies is easier compared to other warloads.
After selecting the warloads, do not forget to press “Edit”.
Initial round(deployment phase)
In the initial round, go to step on two green bases.
Do not step on three green bases.
Because the cost of the warload is limited to 3 in the initial round, so unless you draw 3 units of 1-cost warloads, one unit will be wasted.
If you cannot step on 2 Shu bases, it is better to step on the cost or type of base.
If two green bases are placed and there is a green base ahead of the green base, as shown below, one of the techniques is to press the decision button before the green base to end the round.

A confirmation screen will appear as shown below, but do not worry about it and press OK.

After the selection of warloads, you will be taken to the deployment screen. It is important not to use other warloads, even if there are not enough Shu warloads to cover the cost.
For example, in the following situation, there is an extra cost of 1, but do not appoint a warload of another color. In the following case, the extra 1 cost is transferred to the middle round.

In this case, select only the two units of Shu and press the OK button. A confirmation dialog will appear, but press OK.
Initial round(placement & battle phase)
This is a phase to endure because it is impossible to have seven units of Shu warloads in the initial round.
Basically, it is recommended to line them all up at the bottom of the map.

Once you get used to it, you can experiment with different placements.
Although you may take considerable damage to your own castle in the early stages of the battle, don't worry too much because Liu Bei's deck has a high damage expectation to the enemy's castle.
Middle round(deployment phase)
The deployment phase of the middle round is almost the same as what you do in the initial round. The player steps on two green bases.
However, if you cannot recruit many warloads in the initial round and you have enough cost to spare, you may step on three green bases.
If you can recruit two Shu warloads in each of the initial and middle rounds, Liu Bei's strategy will be activated and you will be able to attack.
Middle round(placement & battle phase)
If there are only six Shu warloads at this stage, the endurance phase will continue.
If there are seven Shu warloads, it is possible to attack from here, so it is acceptable to place them closer to the front than in the initial round.
However, it is recommended that only Liao Hua be placed at the bottom of the map. Liao Hua's strategy will not be activated until some time after the battle has begun.
Final round(deployment phase)
The cost cannot be carried over in the final deployment phase. Therefore, only in this situation, you may deploy warloads of other armies if you have excess cost.
The following three warloads are recommended for other armies at 1 cost. Of course, there are others, so you can look for them as you play.
Final round(placement & battle phase)
From this point on, the opponents also have a full complement of warloads, so it is a clash.
One of the advantages of Liu Bei's strategy is that it targets the whole of one's own area, allowing one's troops to be spread out. This can prevent the opponent's obstructive strategy from encroaching on multiple units to a certain extent.
You can place your troops as you wish and face the final battle! (Only Liao Hwa is at the back of the line.)
The first 10 rounds are CPU games
The first 10 rounds will be followed by a CPU battle. During this CPU battle, you can try various ways of stepping on the squares efficiently and placing warloads.
It is more efficient if you can decide the route to the end of the game at the beginning of the game.
After that, you will be playing against other players and your opponents will become much stronger. You will not be able to win suddenly, but you will be able to win fairly well if you continue the way you have been doing so far.
For those who want to win more.
Here we have shown you how to fight with a Liu Bei-based deck, but if you want to use a different warload, or if you are playing with Liu Bei and just can't beat him, I suggest you ask a question on the official discord channel.
someone will be kind enough to answer your question.
